elcome to the Instructional Technology Student Association (ITSA) of Virginia Tech!

ITSA is a registered student organization located in 220 War Memorial Hall on the campus of Virginia Tech (VT). The Instructional Design and Technology Program at VT falls within the Department of Learning Sciences and Technologies, located with the School of Education. Under the mentorship of Dr. Jennifer Brill, our faculty advisor, ITSA provides a forum for students to get involved in a variety of social and professional activities.

We are in the process of an organizational update. We have moved our activities, announcements, materials, links, and more to our new community Scholar ITSA site! Come check it out! (Please note that the Scholar ITSA site is not limited to current IDT members.  ANYONE with a VT PID can join, so if you're on our listserv or are a past IDT student, feel free to join our (free) community!)

Here's how to join the ITSA Scholar site:

1. Log into Scholar at http://learn.vt.edu/
   
2. In the left column of your My Workspace, click Membership.
3. In the menu bar at the top of the screen, click Joinable Sites.
4. Scroll through the list of publicly joinable sites, or search for the site, ITSA, by entering "ITSA" in the search field at the top of the screen and clicking Search.
5. Under the title of the site you want to join, click Join.
6. Click My Current Sites at the top of the page.
7. Confirm that the site you joined appears in your list of current sites.
